Philosophy.
- To work together with the community to achieve worthwhile benefits for those who need it most.
- To be responsive to the needs of the community by fostering needs-based community activities through new and long-term community partnerships.
- To ensure that the Sherwood Services Club’s commercial ambitions are aligned with the interests of the community and that the club’s growth will benefit the community as a whole.
- To work together with the Sherwood Indooroopilly RSL Sub-Branch to provide welfare and support to Service Veterans and their families.

Continuance of the ‘Partnerships with Schools Project’

The Club realizes that encouraging and promoting good citizenship in our youth of today is vital in shaping tomorrow’s future for the community. Local schools will be provided with financial assistance in the development and delivery of academic and non-academic projects.

Ongoing financial support for Service Veterans and their families.
- 218 Squadron Air Training Corps
Ongoing financial support for the youth of today.
- Smile for a Child
Ongoing financial support for organisations such as Montrose Access, Starlight Children’s Foundation etc.
- Localised Special Projects
Financial support for fund raising activities to support local community projects.
- Assistance in kind to the Local Community
Where possible make available space for community organisations to hold meetings etc.
